it was worth its 4 stars. the breakfast was savoury, the location was peaceful. extra facilities such as coffee & tea makers and glassware were really useful. besides, the parking was on site.

Characterful base for exploring Whitby. View from the window to the garden. In fact, the free WiFi was a cherry on top.
